These are a list of links to my reviews/summaries of books that discuss the female orgasm. My write-ups usually focus on the parts of the book that speak about the physiological discussions of lady-gasms. However, these are from many years of blogging, and I didn’t always have exactly the same focus, so some may be a less biologically based. I think they are all useful, though. This is a bold, poignant Scandinavian book about what women are often experiencing when it comes to sex (which, spoiler alert, ain't usually an orgasm) and why we need talk about it a lot more.

The name seems cheesy and ridiculous, but the message is hella on point.

A book about having female orgasm that doesn't give all kinds of incorrect, wild, misinformation about getting orgasm from penetration - a rare find. A top-notch How To with a punch of social justice.
The Case of the Female Orgasm: Bias in the Study of Evolution by Elisabeth Lloyd
Absolutely fabulous and incredibly comprehensive book on theories about how the female orgasm evolved.

You can't divide humanity into 2 distinct sexes. This book meticulously goes into why that's true, and it's super interesting
American Sexual Character: Sex, Gender, and National Identity in the Kinsey Reports
This is an interview with the author Miriam Reuman. It's maybe one of my favorite books. It's just really great.
Dilemmas of Desire: Teenage Girls Talk About Sexuality
This is an interview with the author Deborah Tolman. She is fab, and this book is a must read.
For Yourself: The Fulfillment of Female Sexuality
This is an interview with the author Dr. Lonnie Barbach. The book and her research is so important, and if you have not ever orgasmsed and want to learn how, this is a great start.
