About Me

I love lady-gasm activism. I love this blog. I love SSL Reviewing movies, TV, books, advice columns, and scientific journal articles. I love making movies with my friends. I love finding and highlighting other people out there working (knowingly or unknowingly) for the Orgasm Equality Movement, and I love the long-distance friends I’ve made because of all this.

I hope all the information I poured into the movie and that I fill this blog with can be a strange and useful resource for all kinds of people who are out there being more influential in the sexual culture than I ever could be - sexperts, advice columnists, researchers, writers, people in porn and the movie/tv business, parents, influencers.

I wish I had more time in the day to spend working on this blog. I have a day job though. I'm in corporate science, and I actually quite like my career, and if I’m honest, I actually like that this blog isn’t my whole thing. I specifically don’t want to move my lady-gasm activism into a full-time money-making gig (gaining an anonymous wealthy benefactor would be fine, though). Granted, I’ll definitely take movie sales and stuff, but I really enjoy the lack of restrictions that doing this work as a hobby provides. I don’t answer to anyone. I don’t have to promote or sell anything - except my point of view. I don’t write when I don’t want to or about things I don’t believe in, and my burn-out is low (not zero, but relatively low).

I also have 2 cats, a husband and friend that I make movies with, tons of nieces and nephews, a ride or die sister, and some truly great lady-friends from different pieces of my life. Also, I LOVE me some TV and movies. I’m a Midwest city girl born and raised. I’ve only moved cities once, and it was from one Midwest City to another. Both states start with a vowel. People talk shit about the Midwest, but some of the greatest sexual research ever came from here -Kinsey, Masters and Johnson, Shere Hite.
