- Scenes 24, 26, 41 – EDITED
- Created era appropriate feminist posters (both pro and anti pornography) and tracked them into the feminist-porn-conference-that-never-was scene
- Experimented with visually creating “Happy Hand” (one of our favorite characters from the movie) using animation, Cinema 4D software, and good ol’ fashioned puppets
- Replaced 4 terabytes of hard drives. Due to all kinds of problems. (yes, the one we’re making the movie on). We had 4 Spinpoint F1’s die on us. Don’t buy those pieces of crap. Charlie claims it wasn’t too much fun trouble shooting this.
2010 April
- Scenes 8, 10B, 10C, 10D, 15A, 15B, 16, 17, 20, and 36 - EDITED
- AnC and most of our lovely talented cast and crew are reunited for the April 19th cast party at the White Rabbit – complete with the actual paper machete pterodactyl used in the movie!
- A trailer, featuring all cast members, is created and premieres at the Cast Party. You can check it out MOVIE TRAILER LINK.
- Nathaniel Blume, our illustrious composer, gets music onto scenes 10D, 16, 17A, 17B, and 20, and they are premiered at the cast party. With a quick turn around, he uses some older compositions some temp tracks, and composes a bit.

- AnC does as little as possible
2009 Late April Early July
- Actor voice-overs are recorded.
- All footage using actors is shot, mainly during weekend – well pretty much every weekend.
- Heidi Keller Philips collaborates to choreograph the opening number, practices take place, and the dance is shot.
- AnC puts together a submission and 20 minutes of rough continuous footage for a Sundance Documentary Finishing Grant they don’t get it

- AnC turns the essay into a script (visualizes the essay) during long detailed sessions. It goes through several drafts.
- Charlie works diligently on researching and obtaining equipment needed to make this movie.
- Trisha and Barnaby pass the script back and forth making detailed corrections.
- AnC begins advertising for actor auditions.
2006-2007
- Trisha presented the first script essay to AnC. From that point on, the essay would be scrutinized in the group, changes suggested and Trisha would come back with a new version for the process to begin again.

- Ladies and Gentlemen We Assume, a short movie discussing the scientific study of gender differences, was made and premiered at the AnC Movie Prom. The “visual essay” style was thought up and used for this.
2004

- AnC discusses the topic more in-depth and particularly plays around with finding a focus for documentary
- It is decided that a short documentary will be made on the topic for play at the AnC Movie Prom in 2005. The short will be used to test a style for the eventual full length documentary

- Trisha writes the first primitive essay on the topic while on an AnC vacation to Florida – we think this is where the title Science, Sex and the Ladies began, and we haven’t strayed from it since.
2002
- AnC begins discussing the possibilities of making a documentary around this subject. Trisha begins researching books and journal articles.
2001 Fall
- Trisha, finishing up her chemistry major, has to take a philosophy class and chooses Philosophy of Science. She also wants to take an easy class so takes Intro to Gender Studies pass/fail. At the same time, she is wondering about the shortcomings of porn. This mixture creates the first thoughts related to this movie.
